Update on locations and times of the various clubs

There have been some changes in times and locations of the various clubs in town so I thought I'd just post an update.

Lighthouse Y folk dance club: Tuesdays 7-8:30 (although we often go until 9). Lighthouse/City YMCA, Columbus Avenue at Ft. Lowell. $3.50 until January, then the price goes up to $5. All dancers welcome. Levels: beginner to intermediate (with the occasional hard dance thrown in for spice)

Tucson Folk Dance club: Wednesdays 8-10, Cecily's Dance Tech, 6th St at Tucson Blvd, across the street from the Rincon Market. $5 per night. Levels intermediate to advanced

U of A iDance club: Thursdays 5-7, Communication Building Room 214. Free. Level: beginner.

Where does a year go?

Well it's over a year since we posted on this blog. It isn't because we haven't been dancing or haven't been keeping track of what we've done. Nancy has two notebooks full of dance programs from Two of Tucson's folk dance clubs, but once you fall behind it's hard to catch up. So we're going to call Nov 2006-2007 a draw and just enter the dances that have been taught in the past year, and then we'll try to start entering programs again. One day one of us might get ambitious and enter the whole historically missing programs.
